To mark Women’s Equality Day 2025, Contact Base partnered with Kaarigar Clinic (Gujarat) and Equidiversity Foundation (West Bengal)—two organizations working closely with grassroots women—to host a webinar titled “Equal Voices: Women in Economy” on August 26, 2025.

Women entrepreneurs from Nagaland, Gujarat, and West Bengal came together to share powerful stories of resilience—challenging gender norms, overcoming barriers, and building successful enterprises in diverse social and economic contexts. The session provided rich insights into regional challenges, inclusive growth, and the transformative role of women in local economies.

The discussion also spotlighted organizations and initiatives empowering women-led small businesses, focusing not only on the problems they face but also on the innovative solutions they create every day.
