Join us for an exclusive exhibition at Jayamahal Palace, Bangalore, where the soul of Indian heritage comes alive through a curated collection of authentic hand-painted textiles, intricate metal crafts, and traditional weaves. From February 25 to March 1, 2026, between 11 AM and 8 PM, we invite you to explore the storytelling scrolls of West Bengal, the geometric wonders of Maharashtra, and the rustic textures of Odisha—all brought to you directly from the country’s most vibrant artist clusters.
This showcase features a breathtaking array of heritage crafts, starting with the Patachitra of Chandipur, where ancient folklore is narrated through natural pigments, and the delicate Kantha Stitch of Nanoor, which transforms fabric into a canvas of village life. You can also discover the earthy, tribal aesthetics of Dhokra Weaving from Uttar Dinajpur and the 4,000-year-old Dhokra Metal Craft from Mayurbhanj, known for its unique lost-wax casting and wire-finish figurines.
Complementing these are the eco-friendly, hand-woven Sabai Grass lifestyle products from Odisha and the world-renowned Warli Art of Palghar, which uses simple geometric shapes to depict the harmony of nature and community. Finally, experience the vibrant desert spirit through the intricate Appliqué and Embroidery of Dhanau, Rajasthan. Every thread and mold in this collection tells a story of survival, skill, and timeless beauty.
